The JCAAI, together with the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA – ENT allergy specialty) met with USP on several occasions to discuss the USP 797 Regulation and its’ implications for Allergy.  Under the guidance of a specialist in USP sterile compounding rules, JCAAI developed an alternative program, endorsed by the allergy and ENT scientific societies, as the standard by which all allergy vials should be prepared.  Click below to access the Allergenic Extract Guidelines.
